50-1 for the FA Cup
|
This might seem quite premature - as I've often said to Mrs. Bamber but on the back of our last two performances and with a sense that our best 11 are capable of giving anyone a game, I think the 50-1 currently on offer(Paddy Power) is quite generous and unlikely to remain at that level for long, even after the draw is made. The last time I had this feeling was in 2006 when I had us at 50-1 and 40-1 each way when we were a division lower and with a less gifted squad. Anyway, this can easily be exhumed later this year or next when we have exited shamefully at the hands of Exeter City or some or other similar giant, at which point I will embrace the shame. Get on now!

I would expectCameroon to qualify and for Song to leave for the ANC, but Senegal are far from certainties to get there.

I mean of the remaining players Cough
I'd expect him to protect them and play a weakened side again
not saying I agree with that, just that it's what I expect him to do

Well if they fuck off to the ANC, then Sam has no alternative than not to put out his best side

With Song, Kouyate and Sakho off to the African Cup for most of January I'm not expecting BFS to put out anything like his best side for the cup matches that month

As Northern said you may as well make it 500/1

The way you got to look at it is Allardyce's record in the FA cup... Allardyce's record in the FA cup with West Ham... Allardyces record that he basically puts out a team to get beaten so he can concentrate on the league... and that there are gullible WHU supporters that think 50/1 is a great shout.... make it a 500/1 and I might have a couple of quid

Mr Polite 12:52 Mon Sep 22 Re: 50-1 for the FA Cup I'm not great at understanding betting odds but as I understand if you put £10 on us winning the cup at 50/1 then correct me if I'm wrong but you end up losing £10 don't you?
